Meet Simavi at the UNC Water and Health Conference

The Water Institute at the University of North Carolina–Chapel Hill is holding its annual Water and Health Conference from October 29–November 1, 2018. This week Simavi will attend the UNC Water and Health Conference: Where Science Meet Policy. The UNC Water Institute’s annual event has grown to become one of the most important gatherings in the water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) sector held in the United States.

The conference this year focuses on five themes:

  • Measuring Progress Toward Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) Targets
  • Water Scarcity
  • Rural Water Supply
  • WASH Equity and Inclusion
  • WASH in Emergencies

At the conference Simavi will present a number of side-events and presentations on topics including: Menstrual Hygiene: Working Toward Minimum Standards for Quality Programming, Evidence Informed Programming and Budgeting on MHM and Universal and Sustainable Rural Water Services: Different Perspectives Common Goals.
