The role at Simavi

Simavi is looking for a warm and welcoming Management Assistant who always has the overview. Someone who is willing to take on any job how odd it may seem. You enjoy complex agenda management and with your professional approach and flexibility you make things work.

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • You support the Compass members (i.e. Managing Director and Deputy Director) with agenda management and monitoring action points,
  • take minutes of meetings, including meetings with the Supervisory Board,
  • prepare action lists and you monitor progress,
  • create and plan the annual agenda,
  • organise and prepare meetings for Simavi such as plenary meetings and onboarding of new colleagues and
  • process incoming and outgoing mail.

Is this you?

  • You have a senior secondary vocational education degree (MBO) and at least 5 years of work experience in a similar position or a BA degree level (HBO/WO) of education and 3 years of work experience;
  • experience in taking minutes of meetings and reporting;
  • excellent planning and organising skills;
  • excellent communication skills in Dutch and English (spoken and written);
  • experienced user of Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel;
  • confidential information is always safe in your hands;
  • you are service oriented, take initiative and always think two steps ahead;
  • you are a welcoming person, easily to connect with and full of energy;
  • and you have a genuine interest in our work for women and girls.

We offer a contract for 12 months for 24-32 hours per week with possible extension. The salary we offer depends on the years of working experience you bring along and will be within the salary range of € 2.511 – € 3.487 gross per month for 36 hours per week (i.e. a fulltime contract). Furthermore, part of our terms of employment are: 22.5 vacation days per year, 8% holiday allowance, commuting allowance (as of >10 kilometres), a pension insurance and a disability insurance.

Our office is located at Naritaweg 135, which is a 2 minutes’ walk from train station Amsterdam Sloterdijk.
