Case studies from Uganda and Kenya at the CPD
Listening to African young people’s voices is vital in making Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights policies and services more friendly and accessible for them. Action research done by young people in Uganda shows that youth peer educators, who act as the main source of information for young people in a community, have a positive influence on young people’s use of contraceptives and health-seeking behaviour. For a more detailed account about engaging young people in SRHR education and services, we developed these case studies from Uganda and Kenya.
