The Water Institute at the University of North Carolina–Chapel Hill is holding its annual Water and Health Conference from October 29–November 1, 2018. This week Simavi will attend the UNC Water and Health Conference: Where Science Meet Policy. The UNC Water Institute’s annual event has grown to become one of the most important gatherings in the water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) sector held in the United States.
At the heart of the “Agenda for Sustainable Development” lies a commitment to “leave no one behind” in the process of development. Envisioning a world where among others the commitments regarding the human rights to safe drinking water and sanitation and availability of improved hygiene is reaffirm.
Simavi is dedicated to supporting “A Healthy Life for All” and in specific for women and girls. This manual focuses mostly on menstrual health, but it does incorporate other episodes of bleeding between menarche and menopause and when relevant specifically refer to these as other types of vaginal bleeding.Download PDF
